Stay Hydrated!

Windy, snowy, foggy, anything that ends in "y", these are the words that are starting to describe weather around the country. Frosty the Snowman might be happy; however, with the weather taking a turn for the cold and dry, the telltale signs of dehydration are sure to follow. So tell dryness to hit the road, because we are going to help you keep it at bay! Below is a list of some of our favorite thirst quenchers.

#1 Water! It will always be your best friend, keeping you feeling good and glowing. Make sure to drink about half your body weight in ounces everyday, to really get the most benefits.

Daily Moisturizer: CeraVe SA Renewing Lotion is this year's "Allure Best of Beauty" winner for light body lotion, and applied daily, will keep skin soft and comfortable.

Body Butter: The Victoria's Secret "VS Fantasies" line of body butters is incredibly moisturizing, economical, and come in a variety of scents to please any nose. Perfect for those days when your skin is in need of some extra soothing hydration.

Baby Oil: It might sound funny, but Johnson's Baby Oil is a great moisturizer, especially when used immediately after showering. We recommend using it after showering at night, so that it has time to soak in, because it will leave a slight residue for the first few hours, but you will wake up to significantly softer skin. This one is in the shea & cocoa butter scent, but there are others to choose from.

Lip Balm: Keep one in your purse, backpack, car, etc. Essentially wherever you can get your hands on one, because drier weather means chapped lips, and the best way to get rid of them is to use a lip balm. Licking your lips is actually worse for them, because it causes evaporation which wicks away more moisture from the surface of this very sensitive part of the skin. Maybelline Baby Lips, is a great pick because it is cheap, and contains powerful moisturizers.

Facial Moisturizer: We didn't include a picture, because everyone's skin is different, and it really depends on what you want out of it; however, it is a very essential part of your cool weather skin regimen. Monitor your skin to see if your regular moisturizer is too light during the colder seasons.

White House Black Market proves how you don't need to wear a dress to be festive, especially with their variety of jackets and dress pants. Simple on their own, but evening appropriate with a printed blouse, and jewelry, you could be just as stunning in a pantsuit this holiday season.

What's Your Style?

When you read a magazine, and turn to the style pages, usually you'll come upon the pictures of lovely women posing in outfits that are of different styles. What does this mean? The essence of the outfit that they put together for that particular model, can be put into a category based on the look that they want to give off.

As unoriginal as that sounds (being categorized), most of us can relate to this, because the clothing that we pick out will tend to lean in a certain direction. You dress the way you want people to know you. Whether it be in a professional, casual, or dressy outfit, the pieces you choose to put together will have a style that is undoubtedly you!

Below are some examples of styles that are out there, and you might even find in your closet.

Taylor Swift and Scarlett Johansson are great examples of romantic style, due to their attention to flowy, girly details, rich, soft fabrics, and feminine silhouettes.

Jackie O and Michelle Obama are perfect examples of classic style, because of their attention to tailored lines, classic shapes, and minimalism. This style is one that's never "out" and pieces will get plenty of style miles.

Celebrities Gwen Stefani and Taylor Momsen are great examples of edgy style. A little rock n' roll, sharp lines, and some grunge, plus some major attitude make this style standout and ready to make statements.

If there is anything that Jennifer Lopez and Beyonce Knowles are known for, it's their glamorous style. Body conscious silhouettes, bold color, impeccable and elaborate detailing, and lets not forget a good dose of BLING. This style is fit for a diva!

Last but not least is bohemian style. Easy going, relaxed shapes, neutral colors, mixed textures, this style is meant to be comfortable and at ease. Difficult to pull off without risking looking sloppy, there is a fine balance between keeping this chic, and flattering; however, when pulled off, it has an easy grace to it.
