BeautifYou Goes to Per-fékt Beauty Press Event!


On July 10th, we were invited to attend a press event for the celeb loved and busy woman-on-the-go friendly makeup line, Per-fékt Beauty. Based in our very own Hollywood, CA  and founded in 2005, the company believes in, "multi-functional products that are quick and easy to apply, long-lasting, and offer an alternative to traditional beauty products." In short, products that are "per-fékt" for someone with little time, but the desire to look polished. In addition to meeting with Richard Anderson, President -Founder -Creator of the beauty line, we were able to see a first hand demonstration of how the products work. And believe us when we say that these products are well liked for a reason.

Two of the most loved products from the brand are the Skin Perfection Gel, where the "brand started", and the Lash Perfection Gel. The Skin Perfection Gel is full of ingredients that are meant to help the skin and leave a baby soft finish, as well as pigments that help even out skin tone in the most natural and subtle of ways. As stated by the ever dynamic Richard Anderson, "it doesn't cover, it perfects." You can't help but agree with him when you pat, not smooth, it onto your face and see how it finishes whatever product you have previously applied.

Lash Perfection Gel is an inky black gel, that when applied to lashes, works as a lash primer and mascara, that is both water resistant and free of tar, which produces a much lighter coat for eyelashes. As mentioned at the event, it is top rated on Sephora.com (where the line is also available) with 4 out of 5 stars, and unique because it is one of the few, if not the only, lash primer/mascara that is not white, but black.

Those two products are only the beginning, given that the line also offers cheek, body, lip, and brow products. Sufficient to say that Per-fékt has something for everyone, even us here at BeautifYou.
